The assembly (10) has a collapsible cushion support arrangement arranged on a seat base frame. The support arrangement comprises a plate carrying a cushion and another plate arranged close to the seat base frame. A set of spring elements is arranged between the plates, and moves the support arrangement between an unfolded position and a folded position. An adjustable support mechanism supports the former plate and extends from the seat base frame to the seatback frame.
