Hinge for aluminium window frame has hinge tube mounted on plate with profiled clamp to engage edge of window frame

The hinge is for pivot mounting of a window leaf (10) to an opposing frame (18,20) fitting. It has a coupling sleeve (12) mounted on an adjustable plate (58)which can be clamped between a front face of the frame and a cover plate (66). The cover plate has a fastening (36,38) which is slidable along the outer face of the frame and fixable in place. The fastening can have a profile (39,48) to fit in the frame edge.
