The method involves identifying technical influencing variables on economic value of a system, where the influencing variables are changed through the structural measures in their value. The changes of the values of the technical influencing variables are determined based on the structural measures. The changes of the economic value of the system associated with the changes of the value of the influencing variables are determined.
