Torque and rotation angle sensors manufacturing method for use in motor vehicle, involves deriving control signal for controlling device to control welding and positioning process from representation of reference object
The method involves placing a printed board (4) with an optical detector (5) in a plastic-housing part (1), where another housing part (2) is laser-beam welded with the part (1) using a laser welding device (281). An optical lens (7) and the detector are aligned relative to each other with respect to their optical axes using a positioning device (30) during the welding process. A reference object (33) is represented on the detector by the lens. A control signal (24) for a controlling device (32) for controlling welding and the positioning process is derived from the representation. An independent claim is also included for torque and angle sensors.
