A method for producing elements with small dimension(s), especially in the micro or nano range, showing zones with different physical and/or chemical properties, involves making at least two castable, injectable, extrudable and/or spinnable materials (M1, M2) with nano-particles, consisting of the same starting materials (SM) and differing in composition in such a way that the average size of the nano-particles of at least one SM in M1 is on average greater than the corresponding average size in M2. An independent claim is included for an element containing zones with different physical and/or chemical properties, obtained by this method.
