Drive section has a rear-wheel drive and a simple planetary gear set (10), whereby double pinion (16) is connected with drive shaft (2) and a sun wheel is connected with housing of railcar transmission system. The gradated pinion (26) is connected with an output shaft and with which a compound planet pinion cage integral is provided. The second brake is provided between second internal gear of compound planetary gear set and housing of railcar transmission system. The second internal gear of the compound planetary gear set (20) is connectable with the drive shaft alternatively. The first brake is provided between third internal gear of the compound planetary gear set and the housing of the railcar transmission system. Freewheel clutch is provided between the third internal gear of the compound planetary gear set and the housing of the railcar transmission system.
