The machine has a housing with a housing part (10), and an electric motor (20) with a motor shaft (22) and an output shaft (40) that are respectively connected with belt wheels (30, 42). Blower units with the blower function are integrated into the belt wheels. An opening in the region of the front surfaces of the belt wheels is provided in the housing part. The opening in the housing part works together with the blower units such that cool air from the blower units is drawn from outside through the opening into the housing to cool a belt (32).
