The gear wheel has a carrying socket (2) and a torque proof coupled pinion (1a). The pinion and the carrying socket (2) are torque proof connected such as welded together and manufactured as separate parts. The gear wheel is axially separated by a distance from the pinions (1a, b). A double gear wheel (1) is provided having a carrying socket (2) and on it the two pinions are torque proof arranged such as welded. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing of a gear wheel.
