The device has a stentering frame, which includes several frame carriers. Two retaining strips with respective clamping units (171) e.g. bolts (186), are provided. The strips fix a positioning device, which lies on the stentering frame, to its edge area using the clamping units. An elastic unit (172) e.g. O- ring (181) is provided for elastic prestressing of the retaining strips against the stentering frame. The retaining strip which is made of a light metal e.g. aluminum., has a recess for guiding clamping units.
