The light has a lining unit (2) that is provided with passage openings. A light conductor (5) has an end that is projected into another set of passage openings, so that a front surface (15) of the light conductor is closed with an outer surface (12) of the lining unit. The light conductor is illuminated by a central light source (14). The arrangement of the light conductor and/or the central light source is selected, so that different light effects e.g. sunrise, sunset and evening mood, are obtained at the lining unit.
