The sensor has a sensing unit (1) for detecting the temperature of a liquid in a measuring object e.g. pipe (3). A seal (2) is provided for sealing the surrounding of the sensing unit and is at a distance from all the sides of the sensing unit. The sensing unit projects from a sensor holder (4) and has a ceramic measuring unit. The seal is held in a seal holder (7) that is locked with the sensor holder. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an arrangement of a temperature sensor (2) a air conditioning system for a motor vehicle with a senor.
