Lock has housing (1) and locking cylinder (3) situated in bearing hole of housing. Locking cylinder has locking channel in which to put key (5) and notch (6) into which a follower (7) sprung against housing grips when key has not been pushed in. The follower can be displaced from a section (8) of key in such a way that the locking cylinder can be turned. Follower is embodied as pivot arm. Lock can have two diametrically oppostite followers.
