Combustion device consists of a combustion unit (1), to which an air gas mixture can be supplied for burning. Blowing means are provided which can cause or support the supply of the air gas mixture to the combustion unit. The blowing means are arranged in fluid way behind the combustion unit. An independent claim is also included for the method for operation of the combustion apparatus.
