Method involves initialization of a set of execution units (14,15) in same processing cycle to transmit instructions and deciding whether a software of the instructions of the set is a mode switching instruction. An empty instruction is transmitted at one of the execution units and other instruction is transmitted at other execution unit respectively or the other instruction of the set is transmitted at both execution units. An independent claim is included for the processor system for the execution of the method.
