The valve has an upper control chamber (2) and a lower control chamber formed above and below a nozzle needle, respectively. Fuel is supplied to the upper and lower chamber under pressure. A 2/2 port valve (4) is arranged for opening/closing the nozzle needle. A connection tube (6) with tube length of 10 millimeters is arranged between the upper control chamber and the 2/2 port valve.
