The method involves switching on of an autopilot (5) immediately and automatically during the start of the hijacking of an emergency signal and the airplane (2) is landed by reaching an aerodrome of intended landing by the autopilot. The autopilot is equipped for the instrument flight, blind flight and automatic landing. All ground stations are informed automatically by a blind flight simultaneously with the setting of emergengy signal, in order to free the air space. An independent claim is also included for a device for the prevention of hijacking of airplanes.
