The method involves configuring a pilot to perform a landing maneuver of an airplane when an autopilot is automatically switched off by a pushbutton in a narrow-limited periphery of an airport. The autopilot is switched on immediately with abuse experiments by terrorists. Base stations are informed to clear air spaces when the autopilot is irreversibly switched automatically. The airplane is equipped with a radio tag such that interventions in the autopilot are avoided by the radio tag. An independent claim is also included for a device for preventing kidnappings of airplanes.
