The method involves providing a feed-through (1.1) in an area of a sensor unit (1) and providing another feed-through (2.1) in a printed circuit board (2). A pin (3) is inserted through the feed-through (1.1) of the sensor unit and into the feed-through (2.1) of the printed circuit board. The pin is electrically and/or mechanically connected with the sensor unit. An electrical connection area (1.2) e.g. contact pad, of the sensor unit is partially provided in the feed-through of the sensor unit. An independent claim is also included for a device for determining and/or monitoring a process parameter.
