A ventilating device for a water closet (WC)/toilet basin (8) links to a connecting pipe (3) from a flushing cistern (1) outlet to a feed for rinsing water for a WC basin. It is also guided upwards at the side towards a corresponding ventilating device, which can be linked to existing ventilation systems or even operated by separate ventilation.
