The circuit has a rectifier (120), which outputs rectified voltage at an output. Capacitors are switched in a series circuit and the circuit points of the series circuit are connected with the rectifier output. A switch is connected with the center of the series circuit. An evaluation unit (130) is connected with the points and with the center of the series circuit. The switch is controlled based on the output of the evaluation unit. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling an electronic transducer controlling circuit.
