The adjuster has a drive motor and a transmission unit (2) for transferring drive movement of the motor for adjusting a movement of a movable body part (1) e.g. wing. The transmission unit has a shear joint arrangement with two shear arms (4, 5) that are connected with each other at a crossover-point (3) in a flexible manner, where the arms are connected with the body part and a support bearing (6). One of the shear arms is held in a stationary pivot bearing (7) of the support bearing and the other arm is guided to the support bearing by a lengthwise-relocatable support.
