The device has a return valve (3), a low temperature heater (1) with a heating body (2), and a drive (4) with an actuating device for controlling operating temperature of the heater. Maximum operating temperature of a heating system is larger than maximum operating temperature of the heater. An electrical operating temperature sensor is provided for determining the operating temperature of the heater, and an electrical ambient temperature sensor is provided for determining ambient temperature. The valve is influenced by the sensors.
