The laser arrangement (1) for processing of workpieces comprises an automatically processing laser device, a lidded working chamber serving with a protective flap for the reception and laser processing of workpiece, and a security element, which is present in the working chamber and enables the laser processing, if the hands of an operation person present in a sufficient security interval for operational area of a laser beam produced by the laser device. A wall limiting the working chamber is interrupted through an insertion opening. The security arrangement has approximation-test sensors.
