The procedure for continuous production of multi-axial fiber roving composite material (1) web using alpha-material web (4), comprises transforming alpha-material web in continuous folding/winding-procedure to multi-axial fiber composite material web. The alpha-material web runs at an angle alpha to the longitudinal direction of extension of the fiber roving composite material web. A supply reel (4a) of the alpha-material web moves in a closed trajectory relatively around the longitudinal axis of the linearly-moving fiber roving composite material web. The procedure for continuous production of multi-axial fiber roving composite material (1) web using alpha-material web (4), comprises transforming alpha-material web in continuous folding/winding-procedure to multi-axial fiber composite material web. The alpha-material web runs at an angle alpha to the longitudinal direction of extension of the fiber roving composite material web. A supply reel (4a) of the alpha-material web moves in a closed trajectory relatively around the longitudinal axis of the linearly-moving fiber roving composite material web. Sections of the alpha-material web caused by the folding are continuously enfolded at a spatial plane of the moving web and wound to a continuous fiber roving composite material web. The alpha-material web is seized at a position representing the section of an edge of its web that is next to the section running between the edges of the fiber roving composite material web that is turned away from its supply reel. A web edge region of a section of the alpha-material web between the edges is turned away from its supply reel. The section proceeding towards its supply reel is bypassed by a guidance device (8, 9) after the device is placed at the level of the fiber roving composite material web. After the completion of the bypassing, the alpha-material web is introduced into the guidance device and folded. The alpha-material web is brought close to the web level of the fiber roving composite material web and placed on it. The fold of the alpha-material web seized by the guidance device is temporally led as the edge section of the fiber roving composite material web during its further movement. The folding/winding-process of the alpha-material web takes place under inclusion of a longitudinally-running additional material web. A newly formed edge section of the fiber roving composite material web is led up to a zone of the fiber roving composite material web that serves for its fixation. An independent claim is included for a device for continuous production of multi-axial fiber roving composite material web using alpha-material web.
