The joystick has a sensor unit e.g. finger print sensor, provided for an analog input and formed for analog detection of finger movements, where the sensor is designed as a capacitive sensor. The sensor unit is formed for analog detection of pressure exerted in a direction of a longitudinal axis of the joystick, where the pressure is evaluated by a pressure sensor. The joystick provides a digital input by monitoring a stick position and the analog input by monitoring the sensor unit.
