The motor has a stator with grooves (1-36) comprising a laminated core for receiving coil areas. Stator windings are provided with a grouting compound e.g. epoxy resin, for attaining a high electric isolation strength between lines of different phase of the stator windings. Coils in the stator laminated core run partially through the adjacent grooves in an area of an upper coil end (100) and a lower coil end (101) in a circumferential direction viewed in different directions.
