The motor has a stator with a stator winding (3) i.e. air gap winding, surrounded by a stator laminated core (1), and a rotor. A stator inner sleeve (4) inwardly limits a space area for winding. The winding is provided between the core and the sleeve and sealed by sealing compound (40). The core has slots (41) provided at an inner side of the core. The slots are filled with the compound so that the winding is form-fittingly held in a circumferential direction by the compound. The sleeve is made of fiber-composite-material. The compound contains particles consisting of silicate or silica glass.
