5-D-fructose-dehydrogenase for use in medicine, is new. Independent claims are included for: (1) a medicament comprising 5-D-fructose-dehydrogenase in combination with glucoseisomerase; (2) a food comprising 5-D-fructose-dehydrogenase and a glucoseisomerase; and (3) a procedure for treating food, comprising mixing the food with a 5-D-fructose-dehydrogenase and glucoseisomerase in a suitable manner, with which the effect of the enzyme is used first after the consumption of the food.
