Production of a holder (1) comprises cutting a number of blank molds of fixing elements (3) leaving a connecting edge (5) for each blank mold in the surface of a base plate (2) and bending a partial region of the molds around a bending edge in the base region (6). The blank molds are structured so that they each have a bar-like base region with a connecting edge on one end and a head region (7) connected to the base region. The head region protrudes laterally to one side of a neighboring base region. An independent claim is also included for a holder produced by the above process.
