The arrangement has a gear unit switchable between multiple transmission stages, and a hand lever (7) for switching the gear unit. A clutch arrangement (3) is arranged in a drive train in row with the gear unit, where the clutch arrangement is manually and automatically operable. A locking element (30) and a plate (31) are attached to the hand lever for locking the hand lever. An actuator is coupled to the clutch arrangement for automatic operation of the clutch arrangement. A pushbutton (28) is attached at a grip (13) of the hand lever.
