The method involves transferring a set of data e.g. digital enhanced cordless telecommunication (DECT) terminal-software, as broadcast data in B-field of a dummy bearer in a protected mode. The data are subdivided into packets, where the packet volume is smaller or same as the volume of the B-field of the dummy bearer. The packets are numbered, where digital enhanced cordless telecommunication (DECT) - terminals (PP1, PP2) acknowledge the receiving of complete data in a location-registration-information.
