The engine has a working piston and displacing piston moving a working fluid such as gas, back and forth in a closed cycle between a heat area and cold area. The working fluid is heated, and pressurized to increase the pressure, produced by the working piston, on a drive crank. The displacing piston is pressed as the working fluid flows from the cylinders and a heat exchanger. A turbine converts the pressure produced by the working piston into kinetic energy.
