The artificial acetabular cup (1) has a number of radially directed through holes (2-5) for the passage of bone screw (6) directed outside the lug for additional anchoring of the lug within the adjacent bone region for increasing the possibility of positioning of the lug. One of the through holes has inner threading. The internal threads has prefabricated slope and shape, which corresponds to the bone screw, which is provided as bone screw threads (9) for self-screwing into bone material. An independent claim is also included for acetabular cup system, which has a drill jig.
