The arrangement has a transportation area (13) e.g. rear seat, lockable by a door, and a sensor device, which detects an allocation of the transportation area according to presence of human beings e.g. child, in the transportation area. A control unit (1) locks a door of the transportation area based on the detected allocation of the transportation area of a motor vehicle (14). The sensor device has force sensors (2-1-2-3) for detecting a body weight distribution of the human being present within the transportation area. An independent claim is also included for a method for locking doors of a vehicle by a safety arrangement.
