The system has an unit for attaching to an exhaust duct (2) of a gas turbine and possesses a probe pipe (3). The probe pipe is inserted into the exhaust duct in sections. The probe pipe has a temperature measuring device e.g. thermocouple (7), that is provided for detecting exhaust temperature in the exhaust duct. A flue gas evacuation is provided with a removal opening at one of the sections. An exhaust gas is taken out from the exhaust duct through the opening. A gas analysis device is supplied for determining exhaust gas composition. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an arrangement for detecting exhaust gas parameters in a exhaust duct downstream of a gas turbine (2) a method for detecting exhaust gas parameters downstream of the gas turbine.
