The method involves determining a security level (S) of a program by signature inspection of a program signature associated to the program, where the program runs in an equipment (1) e.g. personal digital assistant and notebook. A called mobile phone function is implemented by the mobile phone (2) when the determined security level of the program authorizes the call of the mobile phone function. The program signature inspection is effected by keys that are assigned to the predetermined security level of the mobile phone. An independent claim is also included for a mobile phone with an interface for connecting to an equipment e.g. personal digital assistant and note book, that implements a program.
