The device has a coupling pin (118), where a clutch lever (116) executes a rotating movement around the coupling pin during operation of a lever arm clutch. A drill hole (128) is provided in the coupling pin, and a spring-loaded locking tappet rod (132) is mounted in the clutch lever. A gate valve (136) is connected with the locking tappet rod. The locking tappet rod engages in the drill hole in the coupling pin such that an opening of the locked clutch is possible only after lifting up the locking tappet rod from the drill hole by operation of the gate valve.
