The method involves transmitting active speech and/or information to a subscriber of a group over a voice channel, and receiving information by all subscribers over a downlink channel. A short message (24) is transmitted to the subscriber group by a sender, and the message is assigned to group identification by the sender, where the identification is analyzed in a mobile network. The message is transmitted to the subscribers relative to the identification over anchor mobile switching center (A-MSC) (48) and/or relay mobile switching center (R-MSC) (40, 54) and base station system (BSS) (30).
