The lever has an actuating unit (10) that is movably inserted in a guide tube (32) of a force transmitting unit (30). A movement carrier (40) is provided between a base unit (20) and the actuating unit in such a manner that a swivel movement of the force transmitting unit is transferred around the base unit in a translation movement of the actuating unit. The actuating unit is moved from a stationary position to a usage position during rotation of the force transmitting unit around a rotary axis.
