The probe has a transparent radiation guiding body (3) closing a housing opening (21) in a cylindrical steel housing (2). The body has two coplanar front surfaces in which one front surface is admitted with a measuring medium through the opening and the other front surface is turned towards interior of the housing. The front surfaces are connected with each other by a circumferential mantel surface of a clamping body (5). The mantel surface is separated from the opening by a flexible sealing ring (4). A coupling light conductor and a decoupling light conductor are provided in the housing.
