The structure has two vertical side pieces, and two horizontal side pieces or upper and lower support units. Two side walls comprise rectangular side parts that are hinged against each other. The vertical side pieces comprise leg parts (16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30) that are connected with one another by using a hinge (150), where the leg parts are hinged at the horizontal side pieces or at one of the support units. The hinge is a self-stretching hinge that is pre-stressed into a predefined expanded position by using an integrated spring unit.
