A radiator (1) has a collector box (CB) (12). Fitted in a distributor box (DB) (5) and/or in the CB, a switch- over valve (8), especially a thermostat valve, switches over from a pre-cooling caused by a pre-cooling circuit to a main cooling caused by a main cooling circuit. The DB has an inlet connection piece (3) fitted as a single piece on a top side. The CB has an outlet connection piece (4).
