The linear guide for the transmitting of transverse forces (P) for standard cylinders of all types is in the form of an assembly kit consisting of a driver-angle piece and a slide unit. The slide unit (1) is detachably connected to the piston rod (3) of the standard cylinder (4) by means of the driver-angle piece (2). The surface of the standard cylinder is provided as the slide face for the slide unit.
