The system has a driving condition calculator (10) that is actively and passively connected with an electronic stability program (ESP)-controller (12), global positioning system (GPS) (13), airbag controller (14) and engine controller (18) via connection lines. A display device (11) displays data and/or signals of the ESP controller, GPS, airbag controller and engine controller, and driving safety information in the region of a driver. The calculator verifies the ESP controller, GPS, airbag controller and engine controller in respect to fault, malfunction and variations of control thresholds.
