Cooling device consists of heat-conducting material with opening for bottle or container. It has a liquid bath in the opening which matches the contour of the bottle. The surface area of the gap between cooling device and bottle is identical to the diameter of the bottle, meaning the cold water needed for cooling is used to optimum effect. To show the user the actual water temperature of the bottle, a thermometer is put on the exterior of the cooling device. When the hot water in the bottle has been cooled to around 50[deg]C, the thermometer indicates this.
