The carriage has cable channels (2, 8) connected with a guide rail system e.g. overhead monorail, and running parallel to the system. A swivel blade (4) expands the cable channels, where wheels (5) are rollable on contact surfaces (7) of the rail system. A draw roll is provided for pressing a cable in the cable channels. An inlet guide (6) has an opening for positioning the cable in a direction perpendicular to a rail direction. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method of laying a cable in a cable channel (2) a kit for a rail-bound transport system (3) an application of a kit with a cable laying carriage.
