The method involves subjecting images of object lines (5a-5d) of an object (1) to a geometrical equalization process. Values for brightness and/or color intensity of individual pixels of the images are sampled and/or determined at a surface sensor (6) at predetermined addresses. The values of the addresses of the individual images are computationally accumulated, where the addresses are assigned to object points. The values determined for the respective object lines are subjected to an additional evaluation. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for recording, verifying and evaluating images of an object (2) a computer program product comprising program code units to execute a method for recording, verifying and evaluating images of an object.
