An intermediate product (1) in the production of light sources comprises many attached optical beam light-guiding elements (2) to narrow beam divergence and/or form beams from light emitters that are formed on a carrier (4) with a definite orientation and to each of which a light emitter is brought. The carrier comprises a stiffer and more rigid material than that of the light-guiding elements.
