The inflation device exhibits a ring form (2) for forming a tube foil, pressure roll (5) for folding the tube foil, a rotary section for turning the ring form and/or the pressure roll, a first sensor (16) and a second sensor (16) for measuring of characteristic value of the tube foil, that is turned by the rotary section and is folded, and a calculation section (12) for a thickness profile of the tube foil and the information of the positions in which the tube foil is folded. The rotary sections turn the ring form and/or the pressure roll in a direction around a given angle. The inflation device exhibits a ring form (2) for forming a tube foil, pressure roll (5) for folding the tube foil, a rotary section for turning the ring form and/or the pressure roll, a first sensor (16) and a second sensor (16) for measuring of characteristic value of the tube foil, that is turned by the rotary section and is folded, and a calculation section (12) for a thickness profile of the tube foil and the information of the positions in which the tube foil is folded. The rotary sections turn the ring form and/or the pressure roll in a direction around a given angle and then turn the ring form and/or the pressure roll in other direction. The first sensor and the second sensor are intended at both end section of the folded tube foil. Areas that are measured by the sensors, are edge section of the folded tube foil. The device further shows a control unit (20) for controlling a quantity of a raw material of the tube foil. The raw material is discharged from of a nozzle on the basis of a control signal that is sent wirelessly from a computer, which is separated by the device and which produces the control signal on the basis of the calculated profile.
