The arrangement has a drive assembly for power-operated adjustment of a sliding door (1), and including a drive and a coupler. The coupler is brought into a coupling state, in which the drive stays in connection with the door, and into a release state, in which the drive is separated from the door. The coupler is additionally brought into an intermediate-coupling state with reduced transmission torque and/or force, so that the door is held in its actual position by the coupler by self-locking the drive, and the door is adjustable by manual actuation with a preset minimum -actuating force.
